1. Eligibility and Acceptance

You may use GoXBudget only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law. By using the service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it reasonably up to date.

If you use GoXBudget on behalf of a household, team, or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so for that shared workspace.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, protecting access to your devices, and all activity that occurs under your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account, session, household invite code, or device access has been compromised.

3. The Service We Provide

GoXBudget provides tools to organize and review budgets, accounts, transactions, bills, categories, goals, income sources, investment records, and household finance data. The service is designed for planning, tracking, and recordkeeping.

GoXBudget does not provide financial, investment, accounting, tax, legal, or fiduciary advice. Any calculations, summaries, projections, statuses, or visualizations are informational tools only and should not be treated as professional advice.

4. Your Content and Responsibilities

You retain ownership of the information and content you submit to GoXBudget. You grant us a limited right to host, store, process, transmit, display, and back up that content solely to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of the data you enter, including transaction records, household addresses, invite codes, categories, income logs, goals, and financial notes.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use GoXBudget to violate law, infringe rights, harass others, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload our systems, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or interfere with other users or households.

You may not misuse invite codes, impersonate other people, or create misleading records intended to defraud, deceive, or abuse the service.

6. Shared Households and Collaboration

If you create, join, or administer a household, some content may become visible to other authorized household members. You are responsible for managing who you invite, the permissions you grant, and the information you choose to share in that workspace.

We are not responsible for disputes between household members regarding ownership, visibility, edits, or deletion of shared financial data.

7. Third-Party Services

GoXBudget may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, communications, or other infrastructure. Your use of third-party products or linked services may also be governed by those providers’ terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party products, websites, or services that are not controlled by GoXBudget.

8. Availability and Changes

We may add, remove, suspend, update, or modify features at any time, including account, category, goal, income, or household tools. We may also perform maintenance, fix bugs, or address security concerns without prior notice when appropriate.

We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoXBudget is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoXBudget and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, savings, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the service will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose or fifty U.S. dollars.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the service if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created security or legal risk, abused the service, or if continued service is no longer commercially or operationally practical.

You may stop using GoXBudget at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related terms, will survive.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice in the app, on the website, by email, or by updating the effective date. Your continued use of GoXBudget after the updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.
